KGB DEFECTOR YURI BEZMENOV'S WARNING TO AMERICA: 29 YEARS AGO, Soviet defector and KGB operative Yuri Bezmenov, specializing in the fields of Marxist-Leninist propaganda and ideological subversion; warned us about the silent war being waged against America as part of a long term plan to take over and destroy the American system and way of life. In the video, he seems to be describing what's happening in America today.

Yuri Alexandrovich Bezmenov (Russian 1939 – 1993), known by the alias Tomas David Schuman, 

was a Soviet journalist for RIA Novosti and a former KGB operatice who defected to Canada.

After being assigned to a station in India, Bezmenov began to resent the KGB-sanctioned oppression of intellectuals who dissented from Moscow's policies. 

He decided to defect to the West (Canada)

Bezmenov is best remembered for his anticommunist lectures and books from the 1980s.
