Conservationists at the British Museum in London clean and prepare the metal frame of a forthcoming exhibition of the surviving timbers of the longest Viking warship ever found. The ship, known as Roskilde 6, dates from 1025and was excavated from the banks of the Roskilde fjord in Denmark in 1997. The surviving timbers, which represent 20 percent of the ship, are displayed in a steel frame, which reconstructs the scale of the original warship.
